Don’t trust, verify ethos has never been more real than now. But at what point does it also apply to LLM’s? The closest thing right now is running your own instances of the open source models that are cutting edge alongside learning as much as you can about whatever field you’re leveraging AI into. But at what point does a probabilistic tool caller and word out-putter become the most objective source of truth second to source knowledge ? A black box that in the future we blindly trust for accurate answers on daily subjects… sounds dystopian to me. #llms #aI #opensource
