Minha paixão é música e não literatura; mas falando de literatura, só vejo sentido escrever para posteridade, pois as gerações atuais estão perdidas. Eu vejo adultos "acima da média", que assistem animes ridiculamente mal escritos, como se fossem obras de alto nível. A problema aqui não é o adulto estar consumindo cultura pop de adolescente, mas achar que está obtendo algo de valor. Estou falando de uma completa falta de parâmetros de comparação qualitativas. Ghost In The Shell, por exemplo: nunca vi ninguém com menos de 40 anos que não ache esse anime maravilhoso, adulto, complexo e tal, quando é, na realidade, muito mal escrito, cujo tema é absolutamente fantasioso no sentido de tentar contar uma distopia cyber punk existencialista (na verdade chega a ser até infantil), e acabou ficando datado pouco depois do final da década em que foi escrito. Não vou entrar nos pormenores de porque essas vacas sagradas da cultura pop oriental e ocidental são literariamente ruins. Mas quando se acredita que algo ruim é bom, é lógico que qualquer escritor que publicar uma obra decente vai ser incompreendido e/ou ignorado. Esse suposto escritor só pode fazer uma coisa: escrever por amor, deixando sua obra para posteridade, ou se submeter ao que o público quer ler/assistir. Como já afirmei no início, minha vocação não é escrita; só escrevo por necessidade, pois acho tão ruim o que estou vendo ultimamente que isso me impele a escrever alguma coisa melhorzinha apenas para olhar e dizer: "é, o nível está baixo mesmo". A música entretanto, eu gosto mesmo de fazer e, portanto, minha motivação é apenas satisfação pessoal; estou realmente cagando se os equinos acreditam que Pink Floyd é algo mais que risível, ou Beatles foram revolucionários. Eu posso passar o resto da vida ouvindo as grandes obras musicais da humanidade. Literatura é mais complicado, uma vez que reler grandes livros e assistir grandes obras cinematográficas cansa e abusa. A despeito disso tudo, o quadro é de penúria completa e total. Sem possibilidade de reversão.
