Have you ever seen a four-story Indigenous house? This is a house, or banwa, of the Palaw'an. Some houses can even reach five to six stories. The main post supporting the entire house is a living tree called alauna, considered one of the sturdiest trees. Other plants used in constructing the house include patong (a type bamboo) for the flooring and rattans for tying, including malahag, magsapuon, and timbarangan. Sumbiling, napnap, and batbat are used for the walls, while native woods such as bunog, burngaw, burirawan, malakugong, and alauna are used for the foundations and frames. (c)

So I finally tried the BCH Live feature on BCHNostr for the first time! I was playing Words vs Zombies hahaha. I actually had fun, so maybe I'll do it again over the next few days while I figure out how to keep my stream from ending. 😂 The platform says I need to keep the BCHNostr tab open, but when I open the game on my PC, my BCHNostr live stream gets paused if I don't check the tab for about a minute. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong whahahahaha I've tried streaming games like this on TikTok before, but this was my first time streaming using my Twitch account, which I originally signed up for because of HonkToken years ago hahaha. Talk about finally finding a use for an old account. 😆 The rain has been nonstop for almost 4 days now. Keep safe, everyone! ☔

These past few months, AI has become really prevalent. It’s not only being used by students and workers anymore, but even by ordinary people who mostly use social media for entertainment. Almost everyone is using AI now. What saddens me is that AI should be a tool, not the one doing all the thinking and constructing everything for you. You can simply compose a good prompt and let AI do almost all the work. UP is one of the top schools in the Philippines, and hearing them say that even the quality of their students’ reasoning and argumentation is declining is a bit alarming. You should learn from AI, but AI shouldn’t replace your thinking. Most of all, it shouldn’t make you dumb. I’ve encountered too many AI-generated answers, especially on Topics. Like… can we actually talk? I don’t want to talk to your prompt. You might as well just give me the link to your ChatGPT conversation so I can talk to it directly. I also use AI, and friends, we can do better with AI, but not less.

Do you listen to podcasts? It was during the pandemic back in 2020 when I first tried listening to podcasts, and yeah… I got hooked. 😅 I realized I’m not really into motivational podcasts. I’m more into dark comedy, light comedy, and true crime. Here are some of my regulars: * The KoolPals (my all-time favorite) * Dark Asia with Megan (true crime, serial killers and controversial cases) * Creepsilog (true crime with a touch of light comedy) * Ray William Johnson… who doesn’t know the famous line, “Until…”? 😂 * Facts First by Christian Esguerra for politics. I used to listen to Rotten Mango too. She’s really good, but after a while, I found her narration a bit overstimulating for me, so I switched to Megan. Just sharing a little something about me that I know no one probably asked for. Hahaha.

I came across an interesting difference while browsing BCHNostr today. This morning until this afternoon, I was browsing BCHNostr on my iPhone using Safari, and it was super smooth. I was actually about to make a post saying how well the ‘Load More’ button works. Every time I tapped it, the button disappeared, older posts loaded below, the page didn't refresh, and I stayed exactly where I was. I just had to keep scrolling down. I switched to my Samsung and the Load More button behaved differently. Here, the button doesn't disappear. When I tap it, the older posts are inserted above my current position, so I have to scroll back up to see the newly loaded posts. I'll attach a screen recording for reference. I'm not sure if this is a browser difference, or something else entirely. Just sharing what I observed in case anyone else has experienced the same behavior.
