I feel like you've not read these books. They are completely different dystopian outlooks

Those two things are not directly linked. Cancer, mental illness and major trauma patients suffer some of the most, the ones I know are not very happy and it's got nothing to do with how intelligent they believe they are.

If consciousness was born from suffering and intelligence from consciousness, does that mean the ones who suffer most are the most intelligent?
