My wife told me yesterday that her best friend’s parents found a good old paper bond certificate that my wife’s friend’s grandmother had bought for her when she was born. They did nothing with that shit for almost 50 years…. 300 dollarydoos in the mid 70s could have bought a bunch of stuff. Not so much these days…. If they’re able to redeem it, of course.
