When I asked to write a reference for us, I genuinely didn't expect it to turn into a public post. Opened your link and had a proper surprise moment. 😂 We met at Bitcoin Amsterdam in 2024. My first impression of you: tall, handsome, and dead serious. Turns out the “dead serious” part was the one I got wrong. Thank you for the honest words, all of them. The praise obviously means a lot, but so does the criticism. We haven't been quiet because we've been idle. Building and rethinking a product takes a lot of head-down work, and much of that work isn't very visible from the outside. At the same time, we've also been doing the less visible half of the job on the ground. Just a couple of days ago at Bitcoin House Malaysia, we ran a beginner meetup where people used Nostr and experienced Lightning zaps for the first time. We're seeing more of this kind of grassroots adoption across different communities. And on the things that have been bothering you: yes, we've been listening. A major new YakiHonne release is coming very soon. Some of what you mentioned is directly addressed, and in a few areas we've gone quite a bit further. So thank you again, not just for recommending YakiHonne, but for caring enough to tell us where we can be better. 🤙
