I am honored to share some of the world's most forgotten financial oppression. On September 5th in Indonesia, exactly 38 years ago, the Burmese military demonetized major currency overnight. The problem is that this kind of monetary oppression in Cuba, Malawi, Venezuela, Burma, and many Global South countries is usually not featured enough in prestigious English media. One of the main reasons is that the GDP per capita of those countries is not in their best interest. But if we measure one human life as one human value, everyone matters. Bitcoin is code that dictators can't manipulate!
