For the amount I was borrowing, yes. Tesco rate was 12.3%, end of the road for my credit rating perhaps. Went with standard 50% LTV. Will set up auto top up as well. I've been considering it for some time but the land investment opportunity window was rapidly closing. I figured that with BTC being lower than we might have expected currently, it at least provides me the benefit of lower chance of liquidation. Pushed my thinking more towards borrowing against rather than selling right now. Bit of a bold move, possibly reckless but been falling in love with North West Arkansas Ozark vibes.
Thought I couldn't be more radicalised for Bitcoin and against Fiat. I was wrong. Transferring funds from a UK to US bank account, not hearing anything for almost a week and then having funds returned less almost 5% fees just taught me different. Fiat international bank transfers are shambolic - FUBAR. Bitcoin fixes international conveyancing.
Thanks for that information. I must confess, I fear Islamism in the West and feel increasing concerns about it's encroachment on our communities and society. Perhaps this isn't the watershed moment for significant Christian pushback but I feel one is coming.
LFG.
TY Captain.
Used Ledn.io/wbd for the first time yesterday. Approved in minutes. Collateral sent and confirmed within the hour. Funding received in my bank account within 4 hours. Land purchase incoming. The rate beat the best quote I was approved for at Tesco Bank UK, who expected me to wait for delivery of a credit contract to sign and return, and up to two weeks for funds to arrive. We are crossing the Rubicon.
