I know this is so intermediate for you Nostr OG's. But the fact that I can sit here with Shakespeare building an app for myself and my communities using tools and resources that will not take advantage of their private information and use it against them, just makes me emotional. Years ago I was battling a postpartum psychosis and was desperate for resources that helped me feel more in control and safe. Now I'm creating those resources myself and can share them. Oh I’d say I disagree with about 89% of the “claims” made in this statement lmao. Overall though, I see his response as a strong attempt in defending his intention behind the donation. I get where he internally must conclude that choice as logic lol. I also (more so) see its flawed at a fundamental level. In regards to the societal/human level impact & actual validity based off its core premises? I deeply disagree with anything/one pushing pure individualism, which he seems to advocate for…while making a contradictory, massive donation to give a “boost” to a collectivism political strategy? Hahaha it’s all over the place. That’s my assessment. But again. The company is standing by the core principles, and I agree with that.
