Well, they have different target audiences. Although both are helping with bitcoin adoption, in Prague you can feel the connection with more grassroots projects.

I attended with one main objective: Meet in person the event organizers and community leaders I've spent months talking to online. The result? New friendships, stronger partnerships, unforgettable side events, and a renewed conviction that Bitcoin adoption happens through communities. From the Bitcoin Educators Unconference to the Spanish Reunion, this year's BTC Prague reminded me why showing up matters. I wrote a few reflections on the people, events, and lessons I brought back to Barcelona. 👇 Read the full article below. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/btc-prague-2026-value-showing-up-jordi-llonch-esteve-exdvf

At the in Prague (right before ) I shared a stage with Max Hillebrand and Denis from Pubky to debate: Building on Nostr: Hype vs. Reality. We talked trade‑offs: censorship resistance vs. scalability vs. UX. Protocol comparisons. Bitcoin‑native identity layers. But here’s what I kept coming back to, both on stage and in how we build at : Nobody cares about your tech stack. Not really. Not the user. What they care about is: Does this app solve a real problem? Is it seamless? Does it respect my freedom without making me think about it? That’s why I see Nostr as an identity layer—not as a religion. Identity is fundamental. The protocol beneath it should be invisible. And that’s exactly what we’re doing at Satlantis: pouring all our energy into building the best events app we can. People will come for the product—for the experience, the connections, the utility. Not because it runs on Nostr vs. Pubky vs. something else. The most honest takeaway from the panel? Even when Max, Denis and I disagreed on architectures, we agreed on this: Build things people actually want to use. Everything else is noise. So my question to you: When was the last time you chose an app because of its protocol—or because it just worked? #FreedomTechSummit #Nostr #Pubky #Satlantis #Bitcoin #UX #BuildForPeople
