He’s pushed to his limits, just like Carrie, who unleashes her telekinetic powers after years of pain. Both characters end up causing chaos and destruction—Carrie at prom and Rambo in the town. The gas station explosion in "First Blood" (also in "Carrie") connects them, showing how their inner struggles lead to catastrophic consequences. In First Blood originally Rambo was supposed to be killed by the Colonel, it was changed by Stallone desire to have a more optimistic ending leading to more sequels.
