I haven't even heard them in years, but I miss that sound. I had a pair of KRK bookshelf monitors too and one of those went buzzy. Audio equipment is so ridiculously pricey 🫠 even on the low end.. Truthfully I bought them for recording but I don't record 😂 they're perfect tho. What reference headphones did you get?

They don't go anywhere 🙂‍↕️ In fact they live on a shelf until I get around to resoldering a connection inside. Makes me sad. But the Scarlett 2i2 is pretty portable. They could travel! If I wanted to bring them anywhere 😂 but definitely not using them in transit. I sometimes look at eBay for another set since they're long discontinued 😭 want the white set.. Other downside is I replaced the original pads and the new pads are nothing compared to the OG. OEM pads were literally heaven

Even battery-assisted engines piss me off and feel unsafe, I will most likely die without stepping foot in a driver-assisted vehicle. Gladly. I don't even feel safe on the roads with them. People aren't inherently always safer behind the wheel but I'll take my chances against someone who presumably values their safety over a deep learning machine that can never value its driver's safety.
