I will have to figure out how to "region-verify" my wavlake account in case someone sends Sats - they lock you out of the wallet until you do that, as long as you're in a friendly country that is. I plan on removing and self-hosting the EP, but when I hosted a different track it didn't tie in with my artist profile in the music services, so I need to figure out the best way of doing it.

Oh cool! The EP I recorded in 432Hz and embedded a different Solfeggio frequency tone into each track. I think that's kinda novel experiment for punk/rock/metal. I do lots of different genres though.

As a musician trying the DeMu waters I appreciated your comments during the show. I'm finding the experience as a music listener a little frustrating and your comments about genres and discovery resonated with me. Publishing music with wavlake was a very easy but they have made some decisions I dislike. I'm new to all this and don't have any Sats yet so I need to for out that side before I can boost sorry.

Yes I saw that. It's just handled differently everywhere. v4vmusic and lnbeats don't really seem to treat artists like an entity. ZapTrax does but the later track isn't there when I choose the artist from search. I like that I can choose to follow an artist on ZapTrax.

I have a livestream in a few hours to discuss making my later EP. It's being simulcast on a few different platforms but not sure if any are PC2.0. I plan on announcing joining the ValueVerse there. But how do people share their Nostr profile so they can follow me here and also find my music? Just tell them to search? I have a link to my profile on Primal but is there a genetic link? Share the npub? I just haven't seen it done before.

I just set up a host and tested with your MSP with a single MP3 and hosting the RSS feed. It all went quite smoothly except for the way the "Artist" handled. I may have just made some mistakes so please consider as feedback from a novice. 1. When I added the feed directly to podcastguru it was missing artist info. (Possibly normal behavior?) 2. When I added to podcastindex.org the artist details were displayed. But It doesn't seem to link to the Artist I had previously set up via wavlake. Should I have reused a GUID? And ZapTrax has the wavlake album in the artist but there is not an artist with the new song.

Canada seems worse in some aspects.

My area the state imposed the longest lockdowns in the world. You could only leave your home for an hour a day and within a 5km radius. Everting had to shut but large multinationals and brothels were ok. It certainly sparked some inspiration at the time. Especially when no musicians were speaking about except in support.

Yeah. It wasn't even that bad what the lyrics were. Maybe some of the images as well? They never give you any details. But it wasn't/isn't just YT that did/still block me.

Very sorry for the ignorant questions... Do listeners generally use an app on their phone? I loaded AntennaPod from FDroid which seems ok. V4VMusic.com looks like a great browser-based service but not the best for on the go. And what is MSP2.0?
