Why is #BIP110 saying its proposed measures being "temporary" when everyone knows that it will be permanent. Even though rules might be slightly altered later. It's not going to go back to how it was before. Still studying...

Is there someone that can get explain in a few words was the issue is with spam on the BTC blockchain and why #BIP110 is necessary? A link to a good resource is also much appreciated!

I like the idea of over collateralized stablecoins (DAI). It can't be frozen and it works. But it isn't called USD so average users don't understand it.

While it is perfectly fine to keep value in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Monero or else, it is boring to only view it as an investment. Spending cryptocurrencies on useful goods and services is so much more fulfilling.

Regulators and governments that tax capital gains or outright ban converting cryptocurrencies into fiat affect traders. But they have zero impact on the real cypherpunks that use cryptocurrencies to sell and buy goods/services. Everytime you buy Bitcoin that should be a transaction that removes fiat in favor of cryptocurrencies, forever.
