I can't believe it is already Friday! Time flies... What are you grateful for this week? Me, I am grateful that our boiler is now sorted. It broke last week in the middle of the bank holidays and winter season — snowing outside. 😬 When I had my hot water again yesterday, it felt timeless. It shows how easy it is to take the tiniest things for granted, e.g. hot water and heating. So, yes! I am absolutely over the moon to have our boiler back. And it wouldn't have been possible without my partner's patience in dealing with the logistics and finding us a new boiler in the shortest amount of time. My dear readers, appreciate what you have. I doubt it is possible. Not even twins understand each other knowing they grew up in the same environment. We wire and learn differently. Layer that with other things we exposed ourselves and our communication style. Then you introduce the internet with people from around the world with different culture, belief systems and upbringing. What makes it challenging is what makes it interesting too — to be human. ☺️

If someone has not admitted "I don't know" in their life, that is a red flag bcoz it is impossible for someone to know everything. It is likely an arrogance or i to cope/hide to appear "know it all" or "intelligent". Confident and intelligent people are not afraid or embarassed they do not know something or they are at fault. ☺️

I think it is heavily wired in us for a lot of reasons. But the obvious one for me are: - tribal/sense of community - safety/belonging - blindly following the herd (bandwagon) - curiosity All can be mitigated by conscious choice by asking the "why" and if "who" you follow align your values. It would be interesting to see how long those followers stay (retention) and the bots. 👌☺️
