Did you know there are people that think spraying the sky with toxic substances will save us all…? Yeah, I didn’t either. Until recently. And then I listened to this deeply insightful interview on „Once Bitten” podcast. They are spraying the sky, saying it will save the planet while the only thing it will certainly do is pollute our lungs, crops and beautiful natural habitats. Just like Schrödinger's cat - it’s both. Haha It’s a great experience of opportunity cost firsthand. On one hand, if you fall asleep easily, you have likely wasted your money and allowed the artist to subconsciously program you, while you sleep (rather risky), but you’ve had the pleasure of sleeping fine. On the other, if you try to stay up, “making the most” of the listening part of the experience, you’re missing out on the joy of sleeping. At least you “got your money’s worth” in that scenario. There is, however, a part of me which started to wonder - if I stayed up, listening, wouldn’t I feel like missing out on the point of it all, since at some point you’ll likely ask yourself “why the fuck am I lying in bed among strangers, if I didn’t come here for sleeping anyway”..? Anyway, fun food for thought for my coffee-fired brain this morning, thank you Ben!
