The age does not matter. Nothing has changed. There are exactly zero places in Title 26 statutes, regulations, Treasury Decisions, or Supreme Court case law that say that an American citizen working in the 50 states and making his own income is liable for income taxes. Congrats on not filing - that's the first step. It's possible you may never hear from the IRS out of sheer luck, but if you do, should you choose to learn, you can keep yourself out of Tax Court. The first step in learning is reading "Income Tax: Shattering the Myths", which is the ONLY book the breaks all of that down with crystal clarity. After you do, I'll invite you to a Telegram group to further refine your learning. I've been trying to get prominent Bitcoiners to have the author on a podcast. Once its out in this space, I believe we will make a huge dent.
Yeah, if you write something on a piece of paper and expect it to uphold itself, you're not using your brain.
This is such an ignorant question and stupid it's almost laughable. No country is perfect, but acting like the US Constitution hasn't protected anyone is ridiculous. I'm also not saying there is zero corruption - there's plenty. But if you are lazy and expect a piece of paper to protect you, that's your own fault. That piece of paper requires us to protect ourselves by using what's written within it and holding others to the standards it has imposed.
For the love of God, don't use famguardian unless you want to be ill-informed.

I'm out and about right now, but I will try to post it before the day is over.
Source for the 11 times the Secretary of Treasury has said that?
You can clown me all you want, but I don't pay any taxes and I don't fear the IRS because I follow what the law actually says. Meanwhile, I guaranteed you cucked to the IRS and filed a 1040 this year. The Secretary of Treasury has stated 11 times who is to file a 1040 - and it isn't an American citizen working in the 50 states and making his own income.
And yet, for now, it protects us in many ways, but in the grand scheme, I agree with you.
