Why is Bitchat android version lagging so much behind iOS? Android verison: 1.2.2 iOS version: 1.3.3 #asknostr #bitchat #android #ios
Found it, there is a premium license for some devices. So that means the project is not open sourced yet? --- MeshCore premium features can be enabled on the T-Deck, T-Display Pro, and T5 βUltraβ firmware, by purchasing an 8 GBP (about $11) license on the MeshCore store. Premium features include: Map zoom to higher detail levels MeshCore profiles: Remote repeater or room server admin CLI Telemetry support (and location sharing) Ripple profiles: Post office support. (msg store-n-forward, group chats, shared calendars, etcβ¦) GPS location broadcast mode Pair tracker/sensor devices https://www.cnx-software.com/2025/07/19/meshcore-lightweight-alternative-to-meshtastic-for-lora-based-off-grid-messaging/
How do we dig ourselves out of this mess? Looks like it will get worse before it gets better?
Its easy while the trend is up, usually all your amazing trading skills somehow disappear when the bear starts. Its good to start learning when the market is depressed/boring and sideways...
So how does this work? If I understand you correctly you have to pay a monthly subscription? This is to receive updates?
So the meshcore protocol is on github as well as the firmwares: License MeshCore is open-source software released under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute it for personal and commercial projects. So I guess you buy this premium firmware seperately on their site...
Thats great, I ordered one, can't wait to get it and tinker π
I am exploring meshtastic at the moment, ordered some rak wisblock boards. I briefly looked into meshcore, but was disapointed to see that you need to pay for some license? Do you know more about this?
