I've found that Cursor 12x some tasks, while having little to no impact on others. Regardless, any code it generates must adhere to SOLID principles, Hexagonal Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and a blend of Functional and Object-Oriented Programming. Once I’ve defined the Cursor rule files and provided a clean domain model, it helps me move quickly and skip the tedious parts. Alternatively, unchecked by mid skilled devs, it makes absolute slop.
