I have had problems running my mining operation pulling just shy of 100W on my panel rated 230W. Witch has puzzled me. I played around with different panel angles today and seem to have increased my production quite alot. Thats good news! I also just ordered a small wind turbine of ali ekspress for 350$ shipping included. Sold some spare computer parts for all toghether 350$ to finance it. Made an attempt to run an old Antminer S9 with only 1 hashboard with a fully charged solar battery today. The bottleneck is the inverter. Pluss winter is comming, so i really want a small wind turbine to keep the prodject running in the winter months. So my comming expences this month will be a bigger inverter, atleast 1000W and a small wind turbine, thinking 400-600W max. I am up and running xmrig in the shed! Just the battery on top for now. As you can see below i have got hold of som proper batteries, dont know their state yet. Tried running an S9 with only one hashboard last night, so 450W ish. But something gave. I think it was the battery. Its also running the inverter max, so maybe it was the rampup from the s9 that pulled to much. Anyways. I have made som slight progress in life. One panel (230W) on the roof of the shed. Inside, regulator, fuse and battery is mounted. Total cost of set up: give or take 100$. The battery is 12V and 98ah = 1,178 kwh I also got a 500W pure sinus inverter. Now i can hook up my old machine (junk yard find). Does 2600 h/s on xmrig. I can now finally mine monero off the grid. Thats something ye?! Machine pulls about 100W, this gives me 8-9 hours of mining on a full battery. Let the sun shine! Gasifier build is still under way, looking for parts for filtration and cooling.
