you grew up in certain places at a time that were great for straight white men and much worse for so many others. the US was competing against places destroyed by war and there were massive fed taxes on the rich that subsidized suburbia for people like yourself. you were living on land nowhere near where people like yourself could trace back to having "evolved". "other people" now have much more freedom and economic security.

where and when was that?

did you move "home" to wherever your race/ethnicity/cultural group came from? cause my guess is you quite enjoy lots of elements of the mixed experience of where you grew up or live now and it didn't take an "oppressor" to convince you of that.

people work together fine when they aren't told to think of somebody as different. take any group doing good work, and then point out how there's actually a difference between them if you want to fuck that up. oh you're all Christians? actually you disagree about this passage in Scripture etc. shit falls apart.

again, exactly the approach that those in power want. while somehow folks like Massie and Khanna find ways to work together, especially re foreign policy.
