Israel targeted Iran's missile production chain on the ninth day of Operation Rising Lion, said the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson, Effie Defrin. The attacks used approximately 60 jets and thousands of drones to scan locations before the offensive. "The regime's missile capabilities are only a fraction of what they were at the beginning of the operation," Defrin said. The operation targeted radar systems and air defense batteries, following a strategy to dominate Iran's airspace. As a result, Israel also attacked missile command centers, drone infrastructure, military storage facilities, and tunnel launchers for rockets and missiles. The spokesperson reported that the Israeli Air Force attacked the drone command chain, allegedly destroying 950 Iranian explosive drones before they were launched. The Israeli Navy attacked a Hezbollah military structure, eliminating a terrorist and hitting missile launchers. Despite the reported victories, Defrin said the campaign is not over: "The enemy still has capabilities and intentions." Alert sirens were activated in Israel this morning due to the infiltration of drones launched by Iran, but there were no casualties. Last week, over 1,000 drones were launched from Iran towards Israel, with most being intercepted at the borders. Leaders point to Iran's connection with Hamas and Hezbollah. The operations eliminated Saeed Izadi, commander of the Palestinian Corps in the Quds Force and coordinator between the Iranian regime and Hamas. The IDF claims that since the start of the war, Izadi had attempted to transfer millions of dollars in arms to Hamas, a move thwarted by Israeli intelligence. The spokesperson said that in the hospital in Gaza where the mentor of the October 7 attacks, Mohammad Sinwar, was eliminated, correspondence between Sinwar and Izadi was found, which, according to the IDF, proves the connection between the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and Hamas. "We cut off this connection and interrupted the transfer of arms," Defrin said. Another notable elimination by Israel was Behnam Shahriyari, identified as responsible for transferring Iranian arms to Hezbollah. https://jornaldebrasilia.com.br/noticias/mundo/israel-diz-atingir-todas-partes-da-cadeia-de-producao-de-misseis-do-ira/
