This topic has caused more heated debate at our meetup than any other topic I can remember. Reading your take on it shed some light on our group dynamics. It really is the old timers vs. the newer guys, and I had not noticed that before. Thankfully, our group has a lot of respect for each other. So even with bets being placed, I don’t see this dividing our group. Hopefully that holds true for the larger community as well.
