It’s hard work and sometimes frustrating but I would do it again in a heartbeat. If I could change anything it would be having them earlier in my life when I had more energy to give them.

Yeh this is my worry as well, who knows what other bugs are lurking in the code. Have you got a strong passphrase?

Personally I would not use a coinkite device for generating more than 1 seed in a 2 of 3 quorum now - probably being paranoid but multivendor feels like the way to go with this loss of trust - who knows what else is lurking. I’m using strong pass phrases on top as well.

Needed to use the command line tools to update mine - wouldn’t update via sd or usb modes.

I would add a BIP39 passphrase with a similar amount of entropy to a 24 word seed phrase in case the seed phrase is compromised in the future (prob overkill, not advice!). I’ve got an old Nano S but can’t add own entropy via dice rolls unfortunately which puts me off using it as a single sig seed generation device although prob paranoia. Personally I’m moving to multi-vendor multisig to avoid single HW supplier risks - who knows what other issues are out there waiting to be found.

This is the shove I need to move from dice & passphrase single sig to multivendor multisig dice + passphrase for each. Gonna setup a canary deposit on each multisig key as well & actively monitor for a compromised key.
