For my first indoor grow, I built 2' cubes for pots with ~1.5' deep soil, and had plants 3'-5' tall. You're better off growing for big plants, and pruning it (or training it sideways) to your desired size than trying to stunt the growth with a small container, or other crippling methods. If you grow in tiny pots, you'll either get plants that struggle, or a yield so low that it's not worth the cost. I'll find some old photos of the indoor setup I had and post them here. For an indoor setup, I had large plants, but that was because the law only allowed three mature plants at a time.

I need dimensions to give you an answer. What is "small"?

Considering those dimensions, I would go with the 12" deep pots, unless they're 3" wide. A wide, 6" deep, pot won't be offering a benefit. The deepest you'll need is around 18"-24". From there, you want a wide pot, as most of the rooting structure are "surface" roots, and those are where a majority of the nutrient uptake occurs. In a, poorly named, 1 gallon pot, you can grow a decent sized bush. I've seen them used for starting plants indoor (to be planted in the ground, outdoors) that got up to 2' tall when pruned for height. A five gallon bucket can grow a plant that's suitible for a tiny hedge, but lacks the width to make use of all the soil.

I've been enjoying kefir recently. Good stuff!

Define "shallow" and "deep".

It's been about two months for me. It's been a few years since I abstained for this long.

For the compressor. It would be more efficient for me to find a US retailer.

It would be hypocritical to join a board that one believes should not exist. Building and using a desired system is progress.

I've also been unfollowing a lot. In the past it was people that only post about Bitcoin. Then it was people that can't stop talking about AI, or posting their output (as if any of us care what an AI's "opinion" is). Then it was people that think they are the new source of information about the most recent US conflict. If the few active users I'm following now end up leaving, then I might as well do the same. I'm hoping spring brings a lot more homesteading and gardening posts, as it often does. Nostr does seem to wane in winter.

There are plenty of other factors. Has the number of people following you increased? Did any of the people following you add relays, or use a different client? The day of the week, and time of day, matter a lot too.

I like jokes. I would say psychoanalysis and behavior deconditioning are "ridiculous". Besides, everyone that I met in college that was a hard-core psych major was in the field to learn about their own psychosis. They are often not the best fit for the job.

You still have a few days to plan and get that going! 😀

Pineapple juice has just the right amount of acidity and sugars to kick it off, while minimizing the "acetone-smelling" phase.

I think the best target demographic is people that aren't bitcoin-adverse, but have a life. If an npub introduces them personally, they should give the new person a list of to follow that rarely/never mention bitcoin. It's a narrow target, but it's a way to open the door to something more than the boring topic of "money".

I grew up around a lot of hard core evangelicals, and they have read plenty of the old testament. Somehow, they reconcile the hypocrisy consciously, even though I can tell they subconsciously see through the BS. I think that's why many of them like to debate "non believers". If they feel like they've won the debate, then they can feel justified in buying into something they don't really believe.

I believe Jahova was an imposter. It seems so obvious that he is a weak and petty being, and far from an omnipotent (and loving) presence. Later, I discovered that many/most gnostics also have this belief. The depiction of Jahova's origins from the gnostic point of view adds a whole new dimension.

The only way I can see to do that is to get more people that have interests, other than money, to join. However, that's like asking artists to come to investment club meetings. It's too boring fo them to return more than a couple of times. There is a second topic that's common, unfortunately, it's notes about LLMs. I don't see people that have interests outside of money, or bent hammers, to be flocking here anytime soon.
